Job Title: Dispatcher

A well-established, family-owned trucking company seeks a dedicated and skilled Dispatcher to join our team in Apex, NC. Our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is at the core of our operations.
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting Salary: $55,000 plus (dependent upon experience)
- Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Insurance

- Paid vacation starts after one year
- Referral Bonus: $1,200 per driver referral (paid out $100 per month as long as that employee stays)
- Paid holidays start after 90 days (6 holidays per year)
The Dispatcher will schedule equipment and drivers effectively, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
- Scheduling, dispatching, and planning equipment needs
- Supporting the development and implementation of systems to achieve financial and operational goals
- Ensuring the company fulfills promises made to customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year dispatching experience
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships and communicate with both external and internal customers
- Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), office/data entry, and scheduling programs
- Ability to multitask, think quickly, and work well under pressure
- Capacity to handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls
- Independent worker with a strong customer-service orientation
- Team player with strong oral and written communication skills
- Professional and neat personal appearance
